Balancing | Tires

This operation has more to do with your safety and how your car rides and handles than any other. Tires Choosing the correct tire can be a daunting task. Cost is always an issue but please don't make it the #1 priority. We'll match an apple to apple price, but our recommendation may be different based on the information you give to us. How long do you plan to keep the car? What type of miles do you drive per year? Highway? City? Towing? All of these questions are vital to a proper recommendation.

I'm always asked, "whats the best tire". I will tell you personally that Michelin makes the best tire overall, but in reality may not be the tire that's appropriate for your situation. If you drive less than 10,000 miles a year, the tire will dry rot before you use the tread. Have I served you well by telling you to spend money that you wouldn't get the use of? There are no BAD tires today. There are some that are better than others. Technology has given us amazing products that are light years ahead of anything manufactured even 10 years ago.
Let our experienced service writers give you options and make recommendations that fit your needs. That's our job. And our guys are pretty passionate about what they do.

INSTALLATION - The type of equipment and the proper tire technician is vital to installing your new tires without damaging either the wheel or the tire. Our equipment will not touch either the outer edge or face of the wheel, nor will it put undue pressure on the structure that could cause warping. Dealing with many expensive aftermarket wheels is our specialty and we can make the boast of NEVER, in 10 years of installations, having damaged a wheel. Our equipment is the same thing you'll find in a Mercedes Benz and BMW new car franchise. In fact, it's the same equipment used by Michelin North America in their factory. On a weekly basis, the balancer is calibrated to ensure accurate and consistent balancing. Very few independent tire dealers invest so much into machinery. At Trucks and Moore, we never want to limit the capability of the technician with a lack of quality in the equipment.
